Dr Ali is really nice and patient. As my English is not good, he can always listen to me very carefully and he can explain my situation and medicine instruction to me very carefully and patient until I can fully understand.

Dear Sir/Madam I was seen by Dr Ahmed-Shuaib yesterday, 10 December 2018. I am epileptic (grand mal), controlled, and have hypothyroidism. I needed a full repeat prescription (including phenobarbital) and to discuss the possible implications of Brexit with regard to obtaining my anti-convulsant drugs. I also needed a flu jab. Dr Shuaib not only dealt with these questions and concerns, he also checked whether I had had any episodes (which I have not), asked whether I was working and generally made sure that I was active. In addition, Dr Shuaib arranged for a range of blood tests which I have had this morning. I could not ask for better "service" - at times of concern, he has been at the end of the phone, as have his colleagues. I would dearly love to live outside London - if I could take Dr Shuaib, Dr Bingham and the rest of their excellent colleagues at the Barkantine Practice with me! Thank you so much Dr Shuaib. Dr Ahmed-Shuaib is an outstanding GP. We always try to see him when we book an appointment. We have the utmost confidence in him because he listens and cares and in spite of the time pressures implicit in the NHS you never feel he is giving you less time and attention than you need.

I have had many appointments with different doctors due to medical issue. This doctor really listened to my problem and discussed it with me. Then decided we should investigate it further. I was very pleased and felt that I was in good hands.
